Waiting...

This is the best word to describe today. As we started with a lesson called Event&Project Planning: the basics and we waited about an hour long for the teacher, when she noticed that she had a class with us! That's just really sucked for those who was there after yesterday's (or better to say already today's) party with a really small amount of sleep... Well, what could I say, she didn't give us a good first impression. On the other hand, just to let you know, how sleepy was I am without going out, there was one of the flemish student's waving at me from the bus, then I passed by after getting on the bus, such a bad behavior of me... didn't noticing people. At least I noticed her in the school and we discussed about it. BUT she's the only flemish student I couldn't find on Facebook...-.-" So after having my class lately, I had 2 hours break till my next lesson, so I went home before and waited again...
Then we had our course with our beloved professor, Guido Peene! He gave us a really enjoyable lesson, however he might didn't notice, because most of us was really tired, including myself.
During the way back to the accommodation we decided with Nóri, we aren't in the mood to cook right now, so we'll wait for the Frietliunge Appel to open at 17.30 to buy a BIG hamburger menu and have a lunch&dinner in one, so we waited again, around an hour for it. That was really tasty and worth the price, BUT why the hell the Belgians has SPARKLING ice tea? Yes, you heard it well, ice tea with bubbles!
And of course we waiting for tomorrow to go to Paris, finally!
Medium french fries with Pepper Lover burger and SPARKLING ice tea!

Business English - Highest Level

Our Presentation skills teacher got sick, so our class with her was cancelled. So we could sleep a little more today as I did so. I had my lunch with Nóri at around 2 pm and I also made a plan for the trip in Paris what we could visit during the day.

At the evening I had a business english class, level 3 which is the highest here. Luckily that means we won't waste much time on grammar, the classes will be mainly for get know some deeply business topics and also to communicate much more.
When I arrived to the accommodation most of the students were preparing for party, because there're 2 organised for the Erasmus students, however they'll go to one only, which isn't that far from the residence. I was planing to go out with them, just to check how it is, but since they are still preparing at near midnight, I changed my mind, because I'll have classes next morning...

¿hablas espagñol?

Today I had classes from the morning with Anna, Presentation skills and public speaking, we had some exercises, we had to express ourselves and perform a short story with a given first sentence. Afterwards I had a little break to have lunch, so I bought some stuff for it and prepared it for myself. Almost my whole afternoon gone with that, just preparing the food and eating it, then I had a little rest and I headed back to the university to have my very first spanish class. It was really exciting, we learned a lot of things, now I know how to present myself and I also know a few other words that could be important to communicate. Buenas noches, ¡adiós!

The secret of professional salesmen/women

Today morning, we went shopping some products with Nóri, like rice, mineral water etc. Then we had our lunch and started to prepare for our class(es). I had only one class and it was pretty good, I had some experiences in it as a salesman, so that was one of the reasons I choose this subject. As our professeur told us,we will have some practical lessons later, having some situations similar to real ones and it will be recorded to be analyzed later on.
Afterwards Nóri and Ádám had an english course, while Tamás and me were heading back to the accommodation to have dinner. We shared our experiences with other Erasmus students about the class. After I made some night crime with some others, we ate nutella and pancakes with nutella, sour cream and strawberry in it at around 11 pm. :D It looked similar to this one:

First classes

We had courses started from 11 am, Presentation skills and public speaking with Anna Szermuszyn, who's from Poland but working in Vives since a few years after she had an Erasmus semester here. It was a really one, because she made it to be really interactive, and she promised it will. be.
After that, we had a meeting with flemish students, a few of us can't get into the classroom where they were, because there was lmited places, however we was able to get into another class, which was much better. I got know a few students from medical department, one of them was in Hungary at Semmelweis University for a semester. Afterwards we found out, our Global issues lesson postponed, so I decided to take some more time with the flemish students to get them know better. I left only when there class started, so I had my time to got know them. :)
Then I registered for the language courses and finally Toledo started to work, so we signed up for the limited courses. However it didn't want to work for Roda, as we found out she didn't get the activation code, so we asked for it and made it work in time, to subscribe for the limited courses. Meanwhile she lost the other Romanian girls, so we went back to shop some food then to the accommodation and then in less than an hour we went back to the school for our language courses, Roda for English and me for French.
We were only seven at the french course, however most of us starting it from zero, but we still going in a fast way, the teacher said, she doesn't want to speak english at all, she try to make us understand everything in French, it works more or less, but if we will hear only french words, that'll surely improve our knowledge in a short time.
After the day passed, I've just realized how fast the time is going, this weekend we'll go to Paris and then a month is already over!
No pictures again, sorry! :(

Sunday, chilling

Today we had a hard start, exactly for those who were at the party last night in Gent. Most of them arrived around 8 am, except Jan, he arrived at noon, he was travelling around Belgium before getting back here, ha choosed the wron train in the morning and ended up near to the German border...
Only four pieces of the cake ledt till now, so it didn't last so long, who are tried it, they said it's delicious, so again many thanks to the girls for help!
We had a really nice weather during the day, it was sunny, however there was a little wind. Sadly it wasn't such a good day for Roda, she got a little bit ill, she had to visit the doctor, luckily her friends helped her to organise it and hopefully she'll be better for tomorrow.
Almost forgot: my weekly spending.

Soccer match and baking

Today morning we went shopping with Nóri, I bought almost all the materials to bake a cake, that I decided to make. Afterwards we did our laundry, my first time when I actually went there!
We had lunch then I started to gather the things for the baking, that took some time, since Ana went to shopping, when I wanted to start, so I had to wait for her to get a pan for it. So at the evening we finally managed to start baking it, however some materials wasn't the same like at home, in Hungary, and it took multiple time to make it, but we did it!
Baking team, from left to right: Natalie, Roda, me and Alexa
So I would like to thanks to the girls for the help, for the advices and for all the good work they did to make this cake get into its final state! Many thanks to Alexa, Natalie, Roda and Ana!
While we were baking in the kitchen, some of the guys went out to watch Kortrijk's soccer team's match in the stadiun, Nóri said it was a really good experience for her, since she had never been on a live soccer match before. Afterwards many of them went out to Gent to have some fun at a party, hopefully they're all enjoying it right now. :)

Brussels, rainy day

The EU team
This morning we headed to Brussels, to the European Parlaiment, we had a visit there with a guide, who told and show us a lot of interesting things about how the EU works. When we finished, there was a little issue with one guy, who was one of our group members boyfriend, but was waiting outside of the parlament and took some pictures, the police thought he is dangerous, so they asked him to identify himself and they roughly cheked him. Afterwards we had an hour to have lunch, that surely wasn't enough, luckily I had some sandwiches with me to eat.
From 13.30 we had a guided tour in Brussels, unfortunetly it rained all day, so we all got wet when we finished, but at least we got know a few things about Brussels history, our guide was also get us in for a coffee in a bar.
At the end f the day, we all rushed back to the accomodation to dry our wet clothes and get a little warm, some of them decided to go out for party, I  don't know if they do so, but they started to get prepared for it till now and had some drinks and played various games in the basement.

Oostende, at the North Sea

Oostende's guided tour group
Today we had a trip near to the North Pole, or at least how we felt it during the guided tour, because there was a very cold wind all day and we were near to the North Sea's bank.
During the trip, we got know a few things about the city's historical background, so it was rebuilt a few times, because of the wars and also the place of he city changed by the same reason.
Fish Market
After the guided trip we went back to a place we saw before to eat gyros plate, then we took a walk at the beach, it was really freezy outside, because of the cold wind, however the sun was shining. Afterwards we took our way back and we sat in a Cheers Tearoom for hot chocolate and a little warm up, then we have to leave it, so we had some time to walk around a near park then get to the bus and come back to Kortrijk.
There was a promotion today at the bars, so most of the guys left to enjoy it, 2 beers for one's price. I left home with some others and ew got know eachother a little bit better, I talked a lot with Kostas and with the Greek girls and also took some time with the romanian girls.

Brugge with a native guide's eyes

Erasmus group
Guido Peene, our guide with his favorite soccer team's flag

Had to arrive to the 't Forum at 8.45 and we started our trip to Brugge with one of our teachers as a guide, who was in Hungary more times for international weeks as well, in Tatabánya, so basicly in our college, at Edutus. He born in Brugge and loves the city, but he doesn't like the city's mentality about thinking of tourist to milk them as much as they can...
We had a nice trip till noon, visiting the main attractions and getting know many things about the city's past, after we had an hour and half break for lunch, then we had the chance to decide, if we'd like to continue as a guided tour during the afternoon or just going around on our own.
Since our guide was so great, I decided to join for the second part, it wasn't as well-built like the first part, but it was still really good. However he told us some really great and funny stories, what we couldn't hear from a typical guide.
The afternoon trip team
During the trips, I got know some new faces, 3 from Turkey, who are having classes at another campus of Vives, and also got know some from our accommodation.

Antwerpen, where are no bridges

Today morning, we gather together at the 't Forum around 8.30 to start our trip to Antwerpen. As we arrived there, we had a guided tour around the city center, our guide also show us a few attractions that worth to visit later, however they cost money to enter.
Antwerpen guided tour team
One strange thing about the city, it's divided by a river, but there aren't any bridges, only tunnels to cross it. As we finished with the guided tour aroun 12.15, we went to find a place to eat, and we ended up at a place called Fritten N°1.
Fritten N°1 - from left to right: Kostas, Migena, Murat, Poly and me
Afterwards I joined to our Office team, Migena and Poly to walk around, we decided to vist a park nearby, so we walked there and took some pictures... Also we got near to a russian orthodox church, but unfortuntely it wasn't open, so we took our walk back near to the central train station.
On the way back we sat in somewhere for a hot chocolate/coffe to warm a little bit. We spent some time there then we had to get back to the starting point, ending our day.
Coffee break
At the accomondation, one of the Belgian student's had a birthday, so he decided to throw a party, as I noticed they started to watch a football match instead, while others played some card games.

Uno card game&activity like

Our really first class
We had one class in the morning from 9.30 for a little bit more than one and half hours, it was an introduction about Belgium, about the things its know for and how it works etc. Basicly it was an isparation for our future presentation about our country.
After school, we went in to the city hall, to register ourselves in, that means, we're officially living in Kortrijk for the period of our studies. Afterwards we went shopping with Ádám and than we tried to find out, if we could pay in our rental fee in a bank, to save the transfer fee, but unfortunetly we can't to that, but we can still pay it from a post office, it just cost 2,80 Euros, it's still cheaper than transfering money from a hungarian bank account, since there's no limit how much you pay in.
During the night, some of us gather together in the basement and we started to play uno card game, later on we decided to start playing an activity like game, it's about showing a word (object) without using words and the others have to guess what it is.

Sunday=resting

I woke up early, today, so I had a walk to freshen up myself, than I stayed in the room for the rest of the day and uploaded all the pictures I've taken during the days till now. I've made some private folders for the pictures where some persons are and shared the links with them, but the rest will be availabe for everyone from this link: OneDrive .

While the pictures were loading, I tried to practice mind control with a little success, at least I reached the goal what I wanted to. I was able to influence my dreams without losing the connection between the real world and the built one. However I'm still far from being a master in lucid dreaming.
Almost fogot to attach my last weeks spending, so here it  is.
