#21 Ready for the USA

This week went so slow, yet so fast...
Tuesday some of my friends went home, and instead of the danish course I went in the English Pub to watch the hungarian's playing in the Euro Cup. It was nice to see that how many hungarians gathered together for that event in such a small city in Denmark, and we won against Austria with 2 goals!!! =)
During the week I visited the school sometime, since I had to print some papers and just I've done it, I received some more to do so... and also we had to make clear where and how we gonna stay here for the next semester, evven though I won't be there for the summer. Luckily we found out everything and we were able to move in our new flat with Szilveszter on Thursday. So on that they we were cleaning and packing with Daniel and moved some furnitures to our new flat with Szilveszter and the previous day we've just do our laundry.
So the week passed and on Friday morning I headed to Billund airport to get on my way to America! :) Máté took me to the airport, and I was that lucky person who didn't have to wait for check-in and for the security check, because the airport was almost empty! The reason was, the most of the flights departured around 8 when I arrived and the next one was at 10.20 while mine was at 10.35, it was nice to walk in and do everything without rush, and guess what? Inside while I was waiting I wrote all of these... :D I was so early, even my gate wasn't noticed yet, however I'll have only 1 hour to change in Frankfurt, so the no rush thing is just now at there... there'll be a big rush! Since I'm leaving Denmark for the summer, I won't continue this blog during it, but don't worry, I'm hoping to do a weekly report on my other blog: right here!
And as always you can find my weekly spendings here, and also I made a final table for all my expenses during the semester you can check it here as well. According to the money I got from the Velux scholarship with the travel expenses, it was enough for me to live here, however I also bought my airplane ticket to US and a pretty wooden watch from the money, so almost nothing left. :)
It was a pretty nice 20ish weeks, I'm so glad I meet my classmates, however many of them be on their way somewhere else studying/working during the summer and our next semester, I wish you all luck. I would give special thanks to those who got close to me, Szilveszter who came out with me and "hold my hand" during the way out and will be my roommate for the upcoming semester, Daniel who was a great roommate during the whole semester, to all the hungarians who I met beacuse of Velux or coz they're living in Denmark since a while, to all my classmates who I worked with during the semester on some projects, to the teams who we made some trips around Denmark, specially the bus trip(s) to Copenhagen and the road trip with Karneval and the northest point of Denmark and very special thanks to Gintarė and Greta who became my best friends during this perid of my life and hope to see you soon and make some more trips together in the future! =)

#20 Last Full Week

This week started with handing in our semester project on Monday at noon, and later on the day we went for a walk with the team. =) We went to the beach in Kolding, we had such sunny days lately, seems like the weather this year isn't that bad in Denmark.
Photo credits go to Greta. =)
On Tuesday we moved some small furnitures from the Lithuanian girl's to our place, we also had some ice cream and chat, and we prepared for the upcoming exam of course. Wednesday morning we had the methodolgy exam, Greta and me was the first in our class who finished the exam, maybe it was too easy or we did something wrong? Well, we'll find out as we'll get the results... After the exam we moved the rest of the furnishing from their flat to our place including the two beds. Later on the day I invited them over for a last lunch together, they brought an iced cake, drinks and some presents to not leave us with empty hands, like they didn't give enough with the furnitures and stuff. :D
A little before 6 we met in front of their place, since they've already gave the keys to the landlord and after a little time sitting outside, my friend, Máté arrived to pick us up and take us to the airport, there we had the final moment to say good bye. I'll miss you girls, hope to see you some time in autumn!
As we got back to Kolding, we talked with Szili and Máté and later we got ready for Melody's birthday party, to have our very last party together as a class while missing a few... After the party there were some touchy good byes as many others were leaving in the next days as well.
During the next day, we gotta get back on track, as sleeping long after the party, and during the evening we made our presentation ready and tested how the skype conference will work. On Friday morning I went in the college quite early to test if I can connect my netbook to the projector, and it turned out I cannot, since the school doesn't have any converter for micro-HDMI. So I asked Martin to land his for the presentation, we tested the skype again and how the presentation will go and at around 11.15 our turn came. We made a good presentation even though the girls were on skype, however the teachers weren't impressed that much. Whatever, finally the school got an end for this semester for us, and we can start enjoying the summer! Later the day I played some cards with some hungarian friends from Violvej, and at night there were a semester end party in Pitstop, we went there just to meet some classmates, however not many of them were there, but still some more goodbyes came... During the weekend I was resting and preparing in mind for my next journey, also continued to practice spanish and little bit of danish. The next morning my Lithuanian friends will leave from home to start some new adventures in Cyprus at a summer job in a hotel, have fun and enjoy your time girls! :)
As always you can find my weekly spending here, and soon you can get ready to follow me on my other blog to continue The American Experience after a year long break!

#19 - 6 hours exam ✔

In the first part of the week I was just resting after the trips and study for the 6 hours exam which we took on Thursday. Just like for the mock exam we split the books between Greta and me, so we didn't have to carry so much, however we didn't use them so much since we had mostly everything ready on our latops. Good news! Thanks to my dear frind Szilveszter who has some danish friends, we manage to fix my camera's objective, so now it works fine again!
After the exam we had some rests and then with the Lithuanian girls we made some home-made burgers, they were delicious! :)
And from Friday we started to work on our project, and since we had some meat left we made some mini-burgers! :D During the weekend we also meet up to finish our project and on Sunday afternoon we did the last changes and made it ready to hand-in. On the other hand we lost our 4th member of the group since she didn't come for the meetings since the previous week and we couldn't reach her...
And look who we found during the days going to the shop:
The not that fat Garfield!
As always you can find my weekly spending here, as we are getting closer to the end I made some calculations and it seems pretty good that I had mainly spent my scholarship's amount each month.
