Monday Morning

I had classes from 11 am only, so I shouldn't wake up early. We Social competences with our Polish teacher, Anna, it was good, however we didn't have time to do any team works, so we got it as a homework. Then I had an hour break, so I could print out some papers that I needed. Global Issues was our next lesson, we had it short, since the guest teacher couldn't come... Afterwards I had a long break, like almost 3 hours till my French course. I went to the International Office's entrance with Nóri where are some sofas, so we could relax there. During the break, I called Marianna and we started to play a guessing game, it was so funny, how we managed it on skype... :D
Then I had French... I could say didn't learn much new again, and we also had to postpone our excursion to Lille, since the teacher overbooked the day. However it was still fun, we practiced a lot.
During the night I got some dinner thanks to Tamás and Alexa, I shouldn't have to make anything. I also spent some time with my Greek friends, Migena and Poly, talking about my trip to Greece.

Nothing Sunday

Today was another day when nothing special happend...
I woke up really late and it took me some hour to make myself ready to go out to do the laundry with Nóri. As we finished we went back to the residence and made our lunch/dinner to eat something.
Then there comes the I did almost nothing... Nah, I forced myself to do something useful, like keep in touch with some friends and teachers, and learn some Greek of course. :)
During the night I helped Alexa to finish her video for Global Issues, so we finally finished!
And here is my weekly spending.

Saturday is for?

I woke up late, and I really didn't do anything...
I've just cleaned my room during the day, and tried to do some homeworks as well as I tried to help Alexa with the video for her Global Issues homework.
The weather was really bad all day, that also didn't give much motivation to move out, however it would be much better to go out and do something... Some of the guys started a Basketball Tournament with people from the accomodation, but the bad weather forced them back to the residence after a while. Stephen was a bit angry, because of the yesterday's basement party, he decided to lock the kitchen for each noight from midnight till 7 am, to stop these crazy things, however he can't handle it today, because he had to go to Brugges due to some family problems.

Alexa's birthday

Started with an Event & project management class, when I headed to the school I saw some poeple coming back from the last night's party from Leuven. This time the teacher wasn't late at least and the lesson was a bit more interactive than before. Afterwards I had nothing to do, so I went to buy some chocolates to refill my storage, then I had a little rest in my room.
Birthday girl with her boyfriend
In the afternoon I finished the global issues homework to be ready to send it to the teachers. During the evening Ana tried to complete the last surprise for Alexa, but she saw it before the right moment... However it was still a big surpise to get her boyfriend here.
Then we celebrate a bit together, drink some champagne and let them be together. So we were studying with Roda, or at least we tried to work on her presentation for the Environment management with the result of taking some pictures:

Resting & Preparing

Started the day at 9 am to get ready for our global issues homework, what we started to do at 10 am. First we discussed what we wrote then mixed up what we will say in front of the camera. We found the right position for the camera and started to record it, luckily we didn’t have to redo it many times. We were pretty good and finished before noon, at that time I looked after a video editor program to make some cuts and insert some text in it to make it ready to upload. Afterwards we had our lunch with Nóri in the 2nd floor kitchen and as I got know our lesson is cancelled for the afternoon I planned to go out shopping a few things. I went out to a vintage shop with Murat since today all there items cost only 1 Euro, so I bought a light coat for myself and he also bought some stuff for himself and for his family members. We also checked the mobile providers, if they have any good offers for students, but unluckily the best didn’t have any SIM cards in its reseller. It has a really good offer, according to our providers in Hungary, for a prepaid card, each time when you top up with 15 Euros you get 3 GB data, 1000 free SMS and 100 minutes talk within Belgium, the others didn’t have so good offer. The reason I checked them, because our Wi-Fi stopped to work again today… I also did some shopping for the weekend, then I had to leave for my English course. We had some really interesting tasks, I enjoyed the class today, and we also had many group works to do.
When I got back to the accommodation I had to realize that the Romanian girls want to surprise Alexa at midnight, coz of her birthday. So I joined in the team and prepared a cake for her, that I did earlier here, it became much better this time! Just before midnight we gathered together and grabbed our presents for her to surprise her in the room. Unfortunately she was under the shower, so we had to wait a little, but it was still a big surprise for her. So she blow the candle and made her wishes then we eat from the cake that Ana bought and drank some champagne. Afterwards we went to the kitchen to taste the cake I baked then everyone went to sleep since we will have classes in the morning.

A very very long day...

8.45 started with a belgoscopie which followed by our last Management Innovation class, where we had to present ourselves. Our group had 4 members: Murat from Turkey, Raphael from France, Nóri and me from Hungary, our topic was Kodak. We had make a presentation about the brand history and how they are with innovations, since that was the main goal of the subject to find out what the companies do to be innovative.
Afterwards we had an hour break to be prepared for the spanish course, we got know our last week's test result, mine was 76%. And we already got prepared for our second test in the next week. Ready to sleep all day now...

A long day before a longer day...

Started out Innovation management class in the morning at 9.45, it was an all day class, but we had several breaks during. Right after the lunch break, I skipped an hour from my class, just to motivate the Belgian studetns to go for Erasmus, it was an offical event for the IPSOC department at Vives. We were like 7 Erasmus students and/or intershipers there to share our experiences and answer there questions about there fears with Erasmus. We manage it well, at least who invited was happy for us and we got several questions at the end. Then we went back to our class and finish it at 17.15. Afterwards we got back to the residence and slowly started to get ready our materials for the presentations for tomorrow...

50th Day! Basketball game

This is a half hundred days here already! I feel like I'm just arrived...
My class started at 9.45, we've already got some materials shared on google drive and also we had the groups made by the teacher. We had this, Management of innovation processes in companies course all day long till 17.15 with several breaks, during the lunch break I met with Migena who helped to get in the staff's kitchen to heat my meal. Then I also met Poly, while I ate it in front of her office...:D
Our French teacher got ill, so the course was canceled, so I got  back earlier, during the way back, we got into a vintage shop.
Afterwards we went out to play basketball with some students.

Last day with Kostas...

I woke up at around 12, so I slept enough, had my breakfast and made my French homework. Afterwards I talked a lot with Nóri when she arrived back from Brussels.
At the afternoon when the Sun came up we went to a bike trip with Tamás, we visited the lake near at Harelbeke. We walked around the lake, spent an hour there or so, then we took our way back and we stopped at our favorite hamburger bar to eat a burger named Special Appel. As we got back we were just chilling in our room for a while.
For the night, Polyxeni invited me for dinner to Kostas's workplace, since it's the last day when I can see him, he'll leave on the next days. So we went for a dinner, talked alot, then we came back to the residence and I stayed in their room for a while to talk, then I said good bye to my friend, we'll see eachother in Athens! And of course here is my spending for this week.

Nothing special, just bad weather....

I got up at around 9 am and had my breakfast. I went to do my laundry with Nóri, till the machines were working we talked a little about various topics. Afterwards I went to do shopping with Tamás, on the way back the rain caught us... We were thinking that we could go cycling in the city during the day, but the weather changed our mind, because it was really windy all day and also rained sometimes during the day. When we got back, I had my lunch with Nóri. During the rest of the day, I was just chilling in my room and done my part of the Global Issues's homework. I looked out from my roomat the night, because I heard some music from the hall all day, and wanted to check what's going on. As Ana said before 2 Romanian guys came here from Lille (not sure about it) they planed to go to Brussles, but they were still here when the last train's leave to there, so I guess they'll just go out for a party here in Kortrijk. In the basement they organised a Hippie party, they had so many funny costumes... :)
Hippie party

Long Friday

At morning we started our Introduction to marketing course, which lasted till almost 5 pm, we finished a bit earlier today. We made some new steps in the project, we had to finish a survey, then we also have to make the segmentation for our market and so on.
After the lesson I got back to the residence and relaxed a little and made some dinner for myself, while I had to realize I'm out of a few things, so I should go shopping in the next day. Nóri told me her aunt is coming to visit her, she was so excited about it, they planned to go out to a restaurant.
As I finished my dinner I talked a little with my friends in the kitchen then I crawl back to my room and relax... :)

twelveandhalfhourinschool...

Survival, that word could express my feelings after this day...
I had Introduction to marketing from 8.45 till 17.15, it was quite good and we had several breaks with a big lunch break near nooon. It was also a bit active lesson, firstly we had to collect what is inside a business and marketing plan, then we could choose the most important topics, we would like to get  know more about. Afterwards we started to build up a marketing plan step by step, we moving slowly, because we also get many explanations and examples during the class. We have to work in teams with 3 memebers in each, so there's totally 3 teams, because we are only 9 at this course.
After that, as all my energy sucked out I still had an English course with a trainee, it was nice to see how a fresh teacher is motivated with her work and how different it can be from the older one's.
We also got many e-mails during the day about the upcoming classes, so after I got back to the residence I started to answer those, since some of them expect that.

Español Exam

Belgoscopie in the morning, the things wasn't so well organised this time again, we had 3 different courses in the same classroom at one time. So we had to wait a little to get another room, but then we had our courses, we got know a few new things about Belgium.
After the class I went to shop a few more things, that I forgot to buy the day before. In the residence I made a lunch for myself, while many other students just waking up and keep asking me: why I eat so much for breakfast? 'coz it's my LUNCH! at 1 pm. Then I tried to learn spanish and also practiced a little with Alexa since she has much more knowledge in it. We had our first exam or test at spanish course later today, that's why we practiced so much. We took it, it wasn't so long, but took our time since we didn't know what to expect, and our teacher was that kind she bought some M&Ms for usto not be that stressed during the exam. Afterwards we went through the exercises and the teacher tell us the correct answers and we also learned a few new things.
During the way back, we tested with Tamás which way is shorter to get back to the residence, it seems like going to the direction of the city hall is a little bit faster, since he was ahead of me with a corner, around 200m at the finish line.

Plus one credit

Started my day with a little shopping near noon, but I forgot to buy rice...
I had only 2 classes in the afternoon, professional salesman, which supposed to start at 15.15, but the teacher had classes till 16.15 with another group, so we cannot start it earlier, however we still had to finish at 17.15, because we all had classes right after. A big black point for the organisation, how they cannot notify us about that our class will start only at 16.15, not earlier? What so ever, we had fun while we were waiting, we started to play Head Gane! again with a bigger group, it was so much fun! Afterwards we had an hour class then we started our Leadership styles class, which has only this one session. It took only 2 hours in a row, but it was quite good and interactive, so an easy credit for all of us. YES! I have completed 3 credits in total, now. After the class, I offered to Polyxeni that I took her home on my bike (just to keep myself fit :P).
During the night we formed our team for Global issues next homework with Ana and Roberta, we discussed how we imagine to do it and what questions we'd like to answer from the list. We decided to make a short video for it, since we had 3 different forms how we could make it, and this one seemed the best for all of us.

Monday (Morning)

I didn't sleep much, since I was working on my homework till late night yesterday. I started my day with cereals and then took my bike to school, where I had to print out and stamp my homework papers together. My class started at 2 pm, we heard a nice presentation about sustainability in an interactive way and our teacher also show us a few videos and webpages. At the second part of the class, he presented us a movie within the topic, The Age of Stupid. It was relatively a good movie, it showed us how the Earth will look like in 2050 if we won't stop consuming all the goods we have.
Afterwards I had a long break till my French class, and our group was extended by three more students, so that class wasn't so good, because we had to repeat most of the things we learned till now. In the end of the lesson, there were some students who still doesn't have bike, so I offered to Mai, that I take her to the residence, and it's also a good exercise for me. :P
During the night I was talking with Alexa and Roda, and also started to practice English with Roda to improve her knowledge.

HomeWork

We had a lot of homeworks to do for tomorrow, since we didn't done it earlier...
I started with the english homework with Aurore after we finished we also sent it to the teacher, as she requested. Afterwards I was so hungry, so I planned to make my dinner and also started to make my other homework which is a hand-in for Global issues. Roberta asked me to give her some baking powders, because she wanted to bake a cake, so I gave her and afterwards she let me to try it out for first, it was delicious!
Roberta's cake after a bite
Then we were studying and talking a lot with the romanian girls during the night, also eating some chocolates to gain some more energy for the work. The thing that made it hard to write was that we weren't into the topics, we had to write about politics and many things what we don't even know on our mother tounge, but we had to write about them in English...
And of course what I almost always forget here is my weekly spending.
Coffein for studying

Day trip in Amsterdam

We started our trip to the railway station in Kortrijk, where we had to wait for the bus to go to Amsterdam. We were so early with the Hungarian girls, so we have to wait a lot.
From left to right: Bogi, Viki and Nóri, the Hungarian girls team
We arrived to Amsterdam at aroun 11.30 and we had a lot of time till 9 pm. First we decided to join the Greek group, Migena, Polyxeni and their Belgian friends. We wanted to get in some museums, but the tickets prices were so high and also the line was horrible long, the cheaper musems also had these long-long lines, so we decided to won't go in to any. We walked around the city and checked various places, then around 3 pm we went in to a McDonalds to take our lunch, after we had some rest we discovered some other parts of the city.
However the team split up, because most of them didn't want to walk much. So we checked the Rembrand park and the Erasmus park, none of them were any special, no statues, no funtains at the moment, maybe they'll look much better during the summer.
At the evening during the way back to the bus, we passed by the Red Light Dictrict, there were a huge amount of people, but I didn't feel like it's anything special, I know there's a similar in Brussels anyway...
Then we started our way back a little bit after 9 pm and arrived to Kortrijk right after midnight, luckily they took us to the residence, so we didn't have to walk much.

Day before Amsterdam

Luckily I didn't have any classes today, so I could sleep till noon, then I went out for shopping to get some meals for the next days and for the trip in Amsterdam. After that I did like nothing all day, just resting in my room. In the evening I had a skype talk with my family about how I'll spend my spring/Easter break this time. We got a decision about it, but still have to fix a few things for that.
During the night Alexa really wanted to go out with a few of us, and they waited for me to join, like this:
However I didn't think it was a good idea, because in the next morning we'll have to get up early to catch the bus to Amsterdam, but we weren't out for a long time, so it's not a problem. David tried to learn how to ride a bike, he didn't learn it during his childhood, what a shame... and he failed, maybe becasue he was after a few drinks.

To make a long story short...

I started my day with an over slept, however I set my alarm for 7 am, I just turned it off and wanted to take a few minutes nap before I get out from bed, but that few minutes was 4 hours, the next time I checked it was 10.50. So I missed my first class with my beloved teacher Mr. Peene, on the other hand I had my sleep, so I didn't feel tired all the day. So I got to school at around noon for my class with my other lovely teacher from Poland, Anna. I really enjoyed her class, we made some great exercises with the group and I saw that Roda was starting to open up, she was much more active during the class like before. After the lessons with Anna, I had almost 2 hours break till my English course, but luckily I didn't have to wait alone, I spent my time with Chica Checa and Chica Eslovaca, we played a game called Head Games! It's a kind of guessing game where you have to act out or speak out some words or titles without using the actual words. At least it makes to pass the time faster till the course. We made many various exercises during the English course, we also got know something about the European stereotypes and things. Thanks to Adele we also had a little Greek course during the English, she wrote all our names on the black board, mines looks like this: Τσόνγκορ Κισς that equals Csongor Kiss, but if I want to write to kiss as the verb it's: φιλί. :)
During the night I went down to the basement with the 2 girls, mentioned before and they joined in some wierd alcohol games. Also 2 friend's of Nóri from Hungary arrived tonight, they will spend a few days here, for the first night they didn't plan anything special. Both of the girls had a really bad experience with Ryanair today, they had the correct sized luggages, but they didn't allow them to take them on the plan, because they said it's not in the size of it, but they let them take it as a checked-in baggages without taking any extra prices for it... But when they arrived to Nóri and opened their luggages, they realized there are many things missing from it, like some expensive body creams, cigarettes, a sweater, so it wasn't free at all, however as they checked the size they must took it to the plane with themselves, not to the trunk. After all that, they decided to go out for the night in Kortrijk.
This picture decribes well the relationship between Hungary and Romaina, Top right: we raised together as kids, and now there's a political decision about to don't love (hate) eachother... Luckily there're many exceptions!
Ater all I ended my day with a long talking with Alexa about education, job applies and many many other things related to these.

Belgoscopie&Spanish

Morning view from my room
I had a long day, started with a Belgoscopie at 8.45 am, our professeur gave us a lot of maps about Belgium and gave us some tips how to travel within the country. At the end of he class, ha also gave us some can of beers. After I had a long-long break till my Spanish course, so I did my shopping and went back to the residence to cook some lunch and have a meal. Had some rest as well while I was learning some Greek words and expressions...:D
At the evening I had my Spanish course where we got know we'll have an exam next week from unit one. We learned a lot of new things, some verbs, numbers etc. So there'll be a lot of things to learn for sure. During the night I've just tried to have some rest and were thinking over and over many things.

Social competences, personal developments planning

Started with a class with my lovely Polish teacher, Anna, Social competences, personal developments planning. I'm really sorry for that I was so tired at the class and almost fall asleep in the first line during her speech, on the other hand I really enjoyed her class and all the exercises we made, some of them were about our feelings and I think it helped me to open up my eyes a little bit. We had several breaks, so I had time to buy some sandwiches since I didn't have any time to buy bread to make some... Then we had a Professional salesman class, seems like we'll have to show our skills during the upcoming lessons.
Night view from my room
After I got back to the accomodation I had some rest, when Nóri arrived back from her English class, we talked a little about how it is... a disaster! But no wonder, there teacher is not a real English language teacher. Then I talked with Tamás about various topics including a comparison between Hungary and Belgium. I promissed to Migena I'll go to down stairs, so I did and that'd be shame of me if I wouldn't, because I would miss the Belgian students "concert".

Present Hungary

Our table
Today we had our BIG day, we had to present Hungary to the other Erasmus students ans also for the Flemish students who were interested, during the breaks.
Czech team
It started at 11 am, however we were the first, most of the others came later, but at least we had the time to think over what we would like to place on our table.
At around 2 pm, the presentations started and there was a break at 3.30 pm, and our presentation started right after the break at around 4 pm. During the break, I got know several new flemish students, some of them will come to Amsterdam this Saturday, so we will have a chance to meet again. We had 2 kind of palinka's and 2 kind of Unicum's for taste and also 2 kind of salamis and a fat bacon and some kind of chocolate called cat tongue. I think our presentation was a succesed, hopefully we will have some future tourist for Hungary. :D
Afterwards I had French lesson, that made this day so long... Luckily Nóri left her bike behind for me, because I lended mine to Ana's boyfriend  to take a trip in Kortrijk, while we had classes.
Kostas invited me for dinner, because Migena cooked so much that they can not eat all. We also talked a lot during the night.
"Tatoo" for Poly by me
